What Is Ping?
Ping measures the time it takes for your device to send a packet of data to a server and receive a response, measured in milliseconds (ms).
Acceptable ping: Below 100 ms.
Ideal ping: Below 70 ms.
Excellent ping: Below 50 ms.

The primary factors affecting ping are the distance between the server and the player and the network routes used.
Internet speed does not directly impact ping.

What Is Packet Loss?
Packet loss occurs when data sent from your device fails to reach the server, leading to issues like rubber banding (erratic in-game movements).
Common Causes:
Congestion at your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
Network routing issues.
Incorrect server configurations, especially when advanced parameters have been modified.

How to Resolve High Ping and Packet Loss
Common Causes:
Routing problems specific to your ISP.
Significant distance between the player and the server.
Quick Solutions:
Use a VPN or a free tool like Cloudflare Warp. These can improve routing and reduce ping instantly.
MTR Report: If the issue persists, affected players can submit an MTR report to help us diagnose the problem:
Download WinMTR.
Enter the server IP and click Start.
Run the test for a few minutes, then click Stop and save the report in
.TXT
format.Submit the report as a support ticket in HidenCloud.
The report helps us work with our network providers to analyze the issue. While a definitive solution isnβt guaranteed, weβll investigate thoroughly.
